The weather is quite changing for May : temperatures are quite low, and it rains almost everyday… But I’m still hoping warmers days will come ! After all, I can see some sun rays coming through today…
So, to prep myself for the warmers that will come, I started knitting a new linen top for this summer.
It’s something I love to wear : light, flowing, breathable… While the pattern is not ready to be published, I’m going to continue catching up by showing you the linen top knitting pattern I published last year with Madlaine.
Simply Linen is light and airy ! This generously-sized top features drop shoulders, a v-neck, and ribbed edges for understated detailing that will pair well with any outfit. It is an essential in my summer wardrobe. The proof : I made 2 of them and I wore them a lot last summer. To be honest, they’re already back at work this year (under a sweater or cardigan…).
I made the first one (my sample) in size M, which the size that fit me according to my measurements tabs. I’m wearing it with 20cm positive ease. I made it using BC Garn Lino in the bright yellow 35Ln
I love it : it feels very summery, boosts me and I like the way it mioves around myself…
I made the second one one size smaller (S) to show you it can be really nice too with a less loose fit. i’m wearing it with 11cm positive ease. and it feels really comfortable.
I decided to lenghten the body by 8cm and I mde it in BC Garn Lino col. Ln42.
I really like this one too.
