In March, I was lucky to test knit the lovely baby set created by Karen (Oomieknits) : Mavis. She published it in April and I’m a wee bit late to show you my project. It is not because I didn’t finish it : it was a quick knit, but I didn’t took pictures of it until yesterday (we were on vacations before)…
But here it is !
I tested the cardigan and the hat and I’m really pleased with the result : a nice cable and garter stitch, what’s not to love ! 😉
The only modification I maded was not working the stockinette hem. I prefered to extend the garter stitch and cable. As the garter stitch doesn’t roll, it’ ok !
I really liked working on those 2 models : easy for a really lovely result !
I used Dragonfly fibers Traveller, bought on Madlaine.fr website, in Peach Melba colourway. It was such a delight : the yarn is perfect and the coulour cheer me up every time I look at it !
Madeleine will be so sweet in it this Fall ! 😀
