When knitting stripes in the round, you have a step at the beginning of your round, where you change colors. A simple slipped stitch can help you prevent that for perfect stripes.
Knitting stripes
Step 1
Knit with first color until the end of your round.
Step 2
Change color and knit one full round.
Step 3
Next round, slip first stitch with yarn in back.
Knit to end of round.
Step 4
Continue to knit all stitches until you have the number of rounds necessary for your stripe.

This is what it looks like before weaving in all ends.
The slipped stitch, and the last stitch of the first color, can look loose. No worries. When you will weave in all ends, this problem will be solved.
Weaving in all ends
You will work facing wrong side.
Step 1
Start with the second color (here, pink).
Usually, we weave in ends following on the round, which means, here, floolowing the white stitches, as shown bellow. But this is not what you will be doing !
Here, to keep the continuous aspect of the stripe, you will follow stitches from the same color.
Étape 2
Follow with first color (here, white).
Usually, we weave in ends following on the round, which means, here, floolowing the pink stitches, as shown bellow. But this is not what you will be doing !
