(Grand) Bicolore is a pullover for teenage girl and woman. Depending on color combination, it could be neutral, classic, sparkling, exuberant… and always graphic !
This pullover was thought to highlight your chest and conceal the rest of your body.
Using a dark color with a loose fitting on the bottom of the body will conceal this part of your body. In order to avoid « parachute » effect, the bottom is slightly fitted at the back thanks to darts which follow the back curve. The front is kept straight to keep some loose. The bottom of the pullover stops at the small hips (between hips and waist) with only a few rows of ribbing. It was created that way in order to not draw attention to that part of the body.
On the opposite, a contrasting color on the bust and the low cut neckline will draw attention to your bust, your chest and your neck. The back opening add another feminine touch to highlight your skin and your neck.
Worked from bottom-up, body and sleeves meet first for some raglan decreases before transforming to set-in sleeves. This armhole construction emphasizes your shoulder line and contribute to pull attention to this part of your body.
